Would you like to learn to be a blackjack champion? While it
is a very simple game, blackjack
is actually one that can be easily beaten when you learn the right
strategy. With no strategy, blackjack is a game of chance that
tends to favor the dealer.
Blackjack has a very simple concept- get 21 as the sum of your cards or get as close to 21 as possible without going over. You want to beat your opponent (or dealer’s) number without going bust. There are some ways you can learn to be a blackjack champion and we’re going to spill the beans with some of our best tips.
First, you will find that these tips to being a champion sound simple. However, the game itself is a simple one when you really think about it so it just makes sense. The first thing you should know is not to try to get 21. While the game is even sometimes nicknamed “21” and the goal is to get as close to it as possible, trying to reach 21 will cause you to go bust.
Statistically, the odds of getting exactly 21 are lesser than the odds of getting more than 21. Basically what this means is that if you try to get 21 even, you’re going to go over. Next, you need to focus on the dealer. Even if you are playing with other people, you shouldn’t worry too much about their cards. Instead, try to guess what the dealer has and then try to beat the dealer at getting closer to 21.
You can look at the dealer’s card facing up to help make your decision about what to do. For example, with low cards up to about 6 or 7, you want to try for a high number combination. If it’s a 9 or a 10, it’s likely the dealer has a 10 underneath or that he will be forced to take another card which can push him over the 21. You want to stop if you reach 20 or even an 18 or 19 since the dealer may then be pushed over.
